Nice story.
A few of you came to witness the emerging Oakland uptown for yourselves last night. The riot cops looked so bored. Strange but exciting mix on the streets last night in Downtown Oakland. Obama has brought this community together because we all phone banked for 6 months and met the neighbors.
The art parties and local pubs all flying "I am Oscar Grant" posters in solidarity and to keep the windows from being smashed.
Come visit before it becomes another Starbucks.
Come see a show at the Fox.
BART is 1/2 block away.
