The vote after days of closed-door negotiations means the city will forfeit $354 million in federal money for kick-starting the initiative. The Legislature faced a Monday deadline to act on Bloomberg's proposal.

I bike on streets like that. The traffic gets so bad, oftentimes the streets are un-passable. Un-passable by bike! Think about that - a street so congested a bicycle can't even get through.

How can you deny having a congestion problem when even bicycles can no longer pass through your streets?

When the planet burns, and gas hits 10 dollars a gallon, Albany will have a lot to answer for...

(again) Idiots!
