Life is Better Car-free

Gas is cheap there. Inflation adjusted, as cheap or cheaper than it was decades ago. You need a better job if you think $2 / gallon gas is a big deal.
My SUV gets 16 miles a gallon, and I don't blink when I fill up at $3+/gallon here in Southern California (thanks to the liberals, gas costs more here).
