Cape Town Mayor's Limo vs. Bike

Here is a wonderful little publicity stunt that can be replicated in local media markets around the world. In most car-packed cities, bikes are now the fastest (and cheapest) way to get from point A to point B.

"Wheeldon's race with the first citizen of Cape Town produced a salutary result. Covering the nine kilometres from Foreshore to the Zille household in 13 minutes, at an average speed of 43km an hour, he proved the virtue of the fable that pitted the hare against the tortoise: he won hands down."

But for young people who like sport it's a good way to spend less time on getting from point A to point B and moreover it's much more healthier.
