The BBC's "Ethical Man" was a reality series that followed a reporter's family for a year while they reduced their carbon footprint.
Now the "Ethical Man" makes a trip across the United States highlighting problems and solutions for emissions reduction - 6,500 miles on Greyhound and Amtrak (expect some definite kvetching).
When asked by Public Radio International if he or his wife have returned to car ownership since the original series, his answer [audio], "We are still carless three years on. We actually found it much easier than we thought. You think it's gonna be difficult, but once you've done it, it's actually a lot easier than you think."
